Johnny Jump Ups

Yesterday my friend gave me some little Johnny Jump Ups from her garden. In the spring they "jump up" all over her flower garden and she has more than she wants. So, she gives them away, and I am often the happy recipient. I plunked them in the front flower bed or "roundy garden" as my little ones used to say. I see that there are too many daisies coming up there, so I'll dig some up and pass them along to my neighbor. I love pass-along gardens.

Around Valentine's Day I bought a little rose bush to brighten our winter. It was looking pale, so I found a spot for it in the roundy garden too. Now if I can keep the grasshoppers at bay...

I'm Back!

I didn't realize how long it's been since I last posted. A lot of water has gone under the bridge. I'm not sure yet what direction I want to take with this blog, but for now I'll share a few pictures of our new babies.
